 Misheard Beatles Lyrics

Have any of you ever misheard a line in a Beatles song?

Off the top of my head, I've done it for two-
In "Happiness is a Warm Gun" I thought they were singing "Mothers who fear it jump the gun.." instead of "Mother Superior jump the gun"

Also, in "I'm So Tired", instead of "And curse Sir Walter Raleigh" I heard it as "And curse the walls around me".. :P

For awhile, I thought in "She Loves You" they were singing "But now she says she knows, your love for her declined" instead of "You're not the hurting kind."

I'd always try to sing along with my lyric and whenever it got to that part, it just didn't really fit, but I guess I figured their accents made it sound funny and I just accept my lyric because "hey, it rhymes and it fits along with the song..."

Q: "You Beatles have conquered five continents. What would you like to do next?"

Lol! It does sound like that!

Another one -- this wasn't mine but I thought it was cute:
This guy, when he was younger, thought they were singing "Kent Bobby Love" instead of "Can't Buy me Love" and he thought it was the coolest thing ever, he wished HE could have a song written about him! ;D

LOL -- If you try singing along with "Kent Bobby Love" it does work. ;) That's a cute one, hehe.

I also like "She's got a chicken to ride" for "Ticket To Ride." Misheard lyrics are hilarious!

I used to think they were singing "I get high! I get high! I GET HIGH!!!" instead of "I can't hide" etc. in "I wanna hold your hand"... seems more appropriate, hehh..

That one's classic. It still sort of sounds like "I get high" to me sometimes too (especially when they're doing it live). I'll sing "I get high" every now and then too when I'm feeling silly.
