Paul McCartney (known as Macca to his fans) was born in Liverpool, England, on
June 18, 1942. Paul played bass in the Beatles, and when they broke up in 1970, he quickly formed his own group called Wings. Wings had several hit songs, but called it quits after being together for many years.
Luckily for us, Paul is still alive & kicking! He has just wrapped up a Back in the World Tour!
