So, what's the verdict from the BeatVoid? Good, bad, pointless, essential?


Personally, I really love hearing all the songs so cleaned up. Even if not all of them are radically different, the sound quality is just so much better. I especially like "Across the Universe," "The Long and Winding Road," and "I've Got A Feeling."

I really liked the "Fly on the Wall" disc, but I think it could have been a lot longer. I'm also pining for the 8-minute version of "Dig It" and I do miss John's dialogue between the songs. Cutting off the end of "Get Back" was uncool.

Overall, I'm pretty happy with the album. It's not going to replace my "Let It Be" album, but it's nice to have both of them, each with their own strong points.

I hope this means Apple will be releasing the "Let It Be" movie on DVD. (<--- You whores! DO ITTTT!!!)

I love LIBN! I never bought the original Let it Be, I heard Paul had hated it, and you know (or you will know soon) that I worship the ground Paul walks on... [hmmm I live in L.A., he lives in England..... well I worship at least the fact that we are sharing the same planet at the same time] but I bought this new one and I think it rocks! All the songs sound amazing, "I've Got a Feeling" sounds as if Paul were sitting right next to me (too bad he isn't!). "Two of Us" and "Get Back" sound great, and so do "I Me Mine," "For You Blue" "Long and Winding Road," and "Across the Universe", just to mention a few. If you haven't bought the album yet, I strongly recommend it !!

I'm sorry to say that I don't have the new album yet... am suffering from a serious lack of cash at the moment *sigh* the student life! But it's defo going on my Christmas list.

It's good, it's good!

It sounds so incredibly different - in a good way, of course - but I was sad to see some of my fav songs taken off.

But.. "Let it Be" was amazing. I love that song to begin with, but Paul's voice REALLY stood out. Wow.
