Do any Beatles songs ever make you cry? I was listening to Free as a Bird the other day and ended up in tears, lol... the sad bit where they go "Whatever happened to, the life that we once knew? Can we really live without each other? When did we lose the touch, that seemed to me so much.... it always made me feel, so..." And another one is "In my life". Songs don't usually upset me but if I think about them too much.... heheh.

Oh, "In My Life" definitely makes me cry. It has sentimental meaning for me, lol. Also... "For No One", it's so sad! I've cried at "You Never Give Me Your Money" but I'm not sure why... "Let it Be" - almost always cry. Such a sweet song..

Heheh, the weirdest thing I ever cried at was a clip of them singing "Another Girl" - that bit on the beach... they were all soo happy and John was doing the cutest jazz hands thing and I started crying! lol... "For No One" is very sad/bitter, but I love it.

Oh, "In My Life" definitely makes me cry (especially that video version of it that open "Anthology!") Also, "Julia," just because I think it's such a beautiful song. I've also been in tears during "Let It Be" and "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" and "Across the Universe" and "Imagine" and "All Things Must Pass." Not "Cry Baby Cry" though. Such girls we all are!

Oh, "In My Life" definitely makes me cry (especially that video version of it that open "Anthology!") Ahh! That had me almost bawling! It's really effective when you have images with the song.. At my middle school graduation they had a slideshow of all of us, and "Yesterday" was playing in the background.. I remember being really emotional over that, lol.

You lucky person! They did a thing like that for my senior class only we didn't get any Beatles songs. As I expected, we got Vitamin C's "Graduation" and a couple other bad songs playing in the back...

This isn't a Beatles song, it's just a Paul song. But. When I went to my Paul McCartney concert last year, I almost cried when he played "Here Today"- you know, the song he wrote for John after he died. I think the whole audience was in tears...

Yeh "here today" is definitely another weepy... the bit where he sings "and I am holding back the tears no more" is sooooooooooooooooo sad and "what about the time we cried?" etc. It's all sad, really.

Oh, man..that had me in tears and I remember it really well because the whole audience was so quiet..and he also played "Something" and "My Love" and dedicated them to George and Linda..and I cried so hard - and after the concert I looked in the mirror and my eyeliner was all running down my cheeks..

"Carry that Weight" kind of makes me sad, because it just has that feel to it. I can't explain it, but the way they sing it, it just seems like a perfect end to their career. I love it "I'll Follow the Sun"..it has a happy tune and all, but it makes me sad! "Oh! Darling"... "Real Love", "Something", "the End", "The Long & Winding Road"... "Yesterday".. okay, I think that's it ;D
