My friend told me this story about something that happened to a friend of a friend of a friend...or something, lol. Anyway the person in question works as a taxi driver, and one day ended up with Macca in his car! They were chatting away and he told Paul how much he loved his work etc. and got along really well.
When they arrived at his house, Paul invited him in for a drink or two, which turned into a meal... then it started to get late and Paul suggested he stay the night! So the lucky guy got to stay at Paul's as his guest...
But here's the thing, as a little "souvenir" of his stay, he stole a trinket box from the bedroom he stayed in (out of order if you ask me, especially after how kind Paul had been... "hmm, what could be the most sentimentally-valuable thing in this room... ahh that old trinket box thing!" riiiight... if you're gonna take something it should be something stupid which doesn't mean much like... i dunno, toilet roll... or something... *rambles* anyway, on with the story..)... so the guy went home with the box thing.
Paul found out, and because the trinket did actually mean a lot to him, had to call the guy to his house to get it back! And he was really nice about it all and everything.. typical Paulie awww..
So there you go, a nice wee Macca story (no idea if it's true but...). I'd better go to bed now *yawn*

Whoa, what a lucky guy! Meeting Paul, dinner with Paul, staying at his house! I think he was a bit out of line taking something like that though... I think just having that experience would have been enough for me. Anyways, thanks for sharing that story. Paul is so awesome

Wow, that's a great story! I can't believe he stole the box, though..I mean, I would be definitely starstruck and in awe but I wouldn't steal something valuable! Heh, like you said..if anything, go for some toilet paper! That's so sweet of Paul though.. Makes me love the guy any more, if that's possible! It's nice to hear something like this when you have people saying he's mean and all that
