Aw, thank you! *hugs* How did I know you were going to post about this? ;D Yes, I definitely  the books. I was totally freaking out about the release of the 4th book, and now I can't wait for the 5th! I told my mom to preorder a copy, hopefully she did! Who is your favorite character? |

Even though he has but a tiny part - Oliver Wood, b/c yknow... "It's the Wood that makes it good" (lol, I love your siggy @ A&F)
The movies..are..okay.. I intially did NOT want to see them, b/c I didn't think they'd be true to the book at all.. and in some aspects they did fairly well, but.. it wasn't what I pictured the books in my head as...

Yeah, I know what you mean. I used to really like the movies. But now I hate their guts. They've started to taint my images of Hogwarts- I dont like that at all. I've vowed not to watch CoS again. Esp not before I read HP5.

Esp not before I read HP5. Exactlyyyy! ! ! Die-hard book fan.  Saw the movies in the theater once...Regretted it for each of them...Will probably see the next movie, but only because I'm already scarred from the first one...I don't own any of them on DVD because I just loathe them. They pretty much ruined Hogwarts and the characters for me.  But the books! Ahh....They're magical. Can't wait till 5 comes out! ! |

Lol, so the consensus (Oooh, look at me and my five dollar words!) is books all the way, and the movies...not so good.. How long is the 5th book supposed to be? I hope they don't pull a Return of the King on us, where they shorten it to make it more commercial  |
