I just finished it. I have not been able to grip everything that happened bacuse I read it so fast, but let's just say that Rowling was right when she said it would be differnet. The emotions of Harry, and the way everything did not just completley fall into place in the end, like the previous books. I think I still need time to digest the whole thing.

Omg...Michelle, are you serious? Argh...Not cool. I'm trying to not finish the book tonight, lol, trying to "save it" ..."savour it"... Doubt that will work. Anyway. So far I noticed Harry's attitude change...In the beginning some of it was quite amusing, I was like Harry said that!? Overall, Michelle...Was it just as good as the others?

I'm on Chapter 4 right now..because I want to save it too... I have a really dark feeling when I read it, Rowling really set the mood for the book.. I think I can already tell it'll be a totally different book - but I don't know if that's good or bad! I hate how Harry is yelling and stuff..

I'm halfway through the book now. I decided to let my sister read it for awhile because she was harrassing me about once every ten minutes for being a "book hog," even though we agreed I'd get to read it first. I definitely agree that it's got a different feel to it so far. It's kind of hard to accept that they're all a lot older now, but then Harry's complicated emotions help to convey that. I can see where Harry's coming from still though... he's been through so much and it's certainly understandable that he's had to hide and repress so much. I love Ron and Hermoine, but I see how Harry feels that they can't *really* relate to him in every way. All I know for sure is that I want the book back now, haha. I just hope I can finish it tomorrow without all the harrassment. Did anyone else notice that today was REALLY quiet? No kids yelling, screaming, or running around... It was kind of creepy, but at the same time, pretty cool. It's amazing to imagine all the people around the world who are experiencing such a wonderfully-written story all at the same time!

LoL...Not in MY neighborhood. My little brothers and their friends are a bunch of illiterate weirdos.... ..I'm so lucky my little sister isn't interested in the books either. That means I have them all to myself. *content sigh* I'd go nuts if I had to share it.. It definitely has a different feel...I mean, you've got the excitement, and the mystery, but there's also something else...I think it's that dark feeling you were talking about, Mer. I'm on Chapter 15 now...

Ah, it's been pretty quiet here, which is nice for a change... I'm at ch 15 or 16.. I hate how they're all mad at Harry... and it kind of made me sad to see that he didn't get to be a prefect! Oh, and that wicked M. of M. lady! Evil, I tell you.. Ron is so cute though! Aww.. I want to know where Hagrid went! This doesn't bode well with me..

I couldn't put the thing down once I got it back last night... I was up until after 6 AM reading, but I finished! I was up for about another hour trying to just absorb and think about everything that happened. I read it pretty fast, but I think when I read it for a second time (once my sister's iron grip on it is released), I'll probably go through a lot slower. I definitely liked the book though! All the new characters and adventures were just richer than ever and the whole mood of the book was just set so well! 5 stars

!! I'm on chapter 22 or 23, I think. I'm trying to slow down but it's so hard! I'm at the part where Harry is getting his first lesson from Snape...and I think they're about to have a yelling fit! Lol. I'm still very apprehensive about who dies - when I heard Mr. Weasley was injured I was like I keep flipping through the back pages and glancing at what's written there.. ;D I saw Draco's name and Harry's parents' names...hrmmm... And I'm still keeping track of the page number! Argh, it's an annoying habit Oh..and I'm wondering about the wounds Hagrid has...does that come up later? Because the "lot" of them - Harry, Hermione & Ron - noticed that his wounds weren't exactly healing..much like Mr. Weasley's...? And they still don't know where Hagrid got all those nasty injuries... I have a feeling that the boys will be able to play Quidditch again..at least, I hope so. If not, at least Harry can catch up on his homework! Every time he gets bad marks I wince..

I just finished that bit, Mer! I've given up on slowing down, it's quite impossible. . So I've decided to just proceed at full speed, and I'll read it again immediately anyway, I always do. . . .
Oh man I nearly had a heart attack about Mr. W. . . .
Anyway. back to the book!

Oh man I nearly had a heart attack about Mr. W. . . . ditto! I'd heard before that someone was supposed to die and I was crushed when I found out he'd been hurt!
