Does anyone ever wish that they had lived through the 60s, 70s? I mean.... first of all, GREAT MUSIC... there were so many cool bands out at the time - The Beatles, The Who, The Rolling Stones, The Eagles etc. Imagine seeing the Beatles, live in concert!!! Or getting to meet them!! *faints* Then there's all the amazing clothes people wore... to this day I've never been able to get a hold of a decent pair of flares... grrr. If you could live in a different era, when would it be? what would you miss?

Ahhh, I definitely was born in the wrong era! I would've loved to see all those bands you mentioned (especially the Beatles! ) play and dress in that clothing style..and burn incense and go to Woodstock and stuff.. Especially in San Francisco - where all the hippies were.. and still are, I hear. I am a teensy bit glad I wasn't born in the 1950s or 1940s..because then I'd be in my 40s or 50s.. Also, I do like the Internet and MP3s.. hmm..

Different era? Try different century... Heh, sometimes I feel like I'd best belong in 19th century England.... Freak, I know. But, yeah. Often I think I'd be better suited somewhere else....Be it the 60s, or whatever...Or even in a different place...England, or some small beautiful town in the middle of nowhere.... That's why sometimes I'm so anxious to get out of here. . . .

No, G, the 19th century fits you! You like literature and romance and all of that good stuff..I can see you there I'm waiting to leave Texas, too. I want to live somewhere in England or Scotland. That would be my ideal place.. So peaceful..everyone would have cute little accents.. ;D It'd be great. Another era I'd want to live in - the Renassiance. There's a Renassiance Festival every year where I live - and it's great...absolutely wonderful..

They're great...you can get your hair braided, eat food from that time-period, ride a horse..watch them do silly stuff dressed as knights, play old-fashioned games.. The one I go to has a site @ TexRenFest.com, and here are some small piccies Jousting!

Try rustzipper.com, amazing vintage clothes from 60s, 70s and 80s but you can never go wrong with a thrift store for vintage clothing. Also Ebay sells pretty much all kinds of vintage clothing. I wish I had been born in the 17th century as a poet or painter.
